| When your dog pulls on the lead the collar applies gentle pressure to the bridge of the snout. As soon as he stops pulling the pressure is released. You dog learns by his own accord that if he doesn't pull the nose loop remains loose. This method of training allows the dog to see very quickly that walking to heel is the best practice. Results have been seen within minutes of using the collar but some dogs may take a little longer to become accustomed. |

Not another headcollar!? The Canny Collar is not a dog headcollar but should be thought of more as a dog training collar. A headcollar, as the name suggests, encompasses the whole of your dog's head. It fits only around the snout so that your dog is less restricted and more comfortable. The Canny Collar does not jerk the head sideways (which in some cases can cause injury to your dog's neck) nor ride up into the eyes. As it operates from both sides of your dog's head, gentle pressure is all that is needed for it to work. It is a kind, safe and effective method of dog training. |
